REMINDER TO GET YOUR BIDS IN

The City of Allison is accepting bids for redoing the Allison City Hall roof at 502 Locust Street, Allison, IA. 29-gauge Steel and Shingle bids will be accepted. Completion date for the project is October 31st, 2026. For more details, please call Allison City Hall at 319-346-7630 (Option 1). Please submit bids by 4:00 p.m., Monday July 13th, 2026. The bids will be reviewed and approved that night at the council meeting. Bids can be dropped off at 502 Locust Street, Allison, IA, 50602 between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or put in the drop box after hours. Bids can also be mailed to PO BOX 647, Allison, IA 50602, or e-mailed to Alexis Wiegmann at lexi.wiegmann@cityofallisonia.gov.

Per council decision, the recycling containers/dumpsters located on South Railroad, will be removed as of July 15, 2026. Please take all extra recycling (what does not fit in your recycling container at home) to the Butler County Transfer Station at 25251 Highway 3.
